This sweater is hand-knitted and handcrafted with high quality Italian merinos wool, which makes this piece extremely confortable to wear and adds durability, you will not question that 

The Phoenix embroidery  on the left side is also hand-embroidered and the technique used is called Chenille, the  appliqués of flowers  are also hand-crocheted with cotton thread 

Finally the fringes on this beautiful sweater are made with another type of thread called Starlux and is a blend of  Italian thread of wool and lurex

The Phoenix significance varies from civilisation to civilisation but it symbolizes Rebirth.  It symbolizes the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one. In Mythologie the Phoenix takes fire and dies to rebirth just right after from the flames and ashes
